Can we please have less violence towards chocobos in quests?

I'm a fan of those cute sheep and especially spriggans but you don't see me crying about smashing them with my spells.

Chocobos are even said to be a source of food by some NPCs in the game and they're basically a horsechicken.

I skipped all the sidequests in Tailfeather to save for an alt... do you have to kill chocobos? Because I don't recall ever having to kill chocobos for the MSQ.

If you don't want to kill chocobos, don't do those side quests.

So it's ok that we send our chocobo to fight the most dangerous creatures in the realm, summon it right away when it dies and sent it to its death again, but it's not ok to kill other chocobos who will attack you first if they have a chance. Violence against our own companion is fine? Or you are going to tell me you don't use your chocobo in fights either?

Just skip the quests. I didn't do any that required killing chocobo and I ignore the hunt marks that require it as well.

Actually, if my chocobo is in danger of dying I always order it to withdraw before anything happens to it, haha. I also get annoyed when people summon them for the Steropes Fate in Coerthas and just let a massacre happen every, single time he uses 10-100 tonze swing!

Just because you want to extend your love for your actual chocobo friend to the rest of the world's chocobo population, doesn't mean everyone else should share your same feelings!

I've never had a muslim friend ask me not to eat pork, for example. We must not force our values on other people.
