    the trouble is not the drop rate, but the recipe itself, the fact to ask the LTW to gather 3 skin for 1 leather is ridiculous and needed to be changed... if they don't want to change the drop rate they need to make the LTW recipe of HW work like the one of ARR, in ARR 1 leather = 1 skin! it's idiot and dumb to ask us to gather 3 skin for 1 leather!

    as BTN i can gather enough for make 50-60 item with WVR in less of 30-40 minutes, same for the MIN.... but for LTW, in the same time you will gather enough item for make at best 15-20 item max. change are needed.

    by the way, something bother me a lot with the craft of HW, i don't feel like we did increase the level max, but more like we continue the end game craft from ARR, it will be nice to think that some people will arrive now and if you make the craft as demanding right of the bat... they will simply not do it. a lot of change are needed for make the craft more interesting and more important, less a pain to create anything that can be changed in the 2 day coming! when you see the item needed for craft gears that can be changed really fast

    I will say, from my own experience, that breaking into HW crafting and gathering has been a royal pain. As someone who never shelled out the gil for the max melds on all my stuff I was caught in a loop where I couldn't make better gathering gear because I didn't have the mats, and getting the mats for it was a royal pain for one reason or another. Never mind HQ for any of it. I finally had to get a guildie help me get HQ gear for gathering once I scraped my way to 51.

    I'm just gonna level up another hunting retainer and my two them out on ventures non-stop to get these mats. Might even do a third, at least while crafting a lot. XP is just not worth it without any kind of completion bonus and takes too long as mentioned. Good thing is, at this point, nothing else worth spending allied seals on anyway but ventures!

    I think it would work better as a currency system. You'd get mob-specific currency (not 100% drop of course) from each mob you kill, then you could go to an NPC and turn these in for tokens, you can the exchange these tokens at a different NPC in a different town for the drops you wanted.

    Bonus Mode: Every mob has a 10% chance to drop a HQ-Currency piece anytime they would normally drop a currency piece (capped weekly) which can be turned in HQ Tokens which can then be turned HQ-Tokens which can be turned in for HQ versions of the item you'd like.

    Do I seem salty? I feel like I'm coming off as salty.
