Is Alexander raid missing something? Whole gear drops?

I thought we were suppose to get tokens from the new raid if we didn't get anything? Not lot against 7 other players for tokens, to unlock gear? I thought this new raid was actually going to be done right for a change, this is ridiculous! Not even completed gear drops, just tokens?

Gear should be dropping after the boss, not tokens alone. Tokens should be given to the rest of the players who didn't receive a gear reward. You get gear or a token you're locked out from receiving anything else from that floor for the rest of the week, but you can still help. Maybe they could have added an option to not collect a token, so you could rerun the floor if you want to try and get a piece of gear.

They had a ok loot system and it could have been a lot better to keep it as it was and just add tokens.

One or the other people, not get loot and a token, you get a token or a piece of gear from the floor and are locked out from casting lots.
