Basically needs to be fixed so the people who whack em a couple times and run to the next one without finishing that one should not get XP.

I for one welcome the great N. Than FATE nerf of someday soon because it certainly deserves it. It's also way more likely than a FATE buff somewhere else.
One day N.T will get that nerf on its fates. I think the relic weapon quest will involve many HW fates, but I still think xp on HW fates needs to be increased.
Shameless bump.![]()
i don't think this is a problem. anyone doing this will have a low contribution, and receive a bronze rating. and if they did contribute enough to receive a gold rating, then they did their fair share of the work. they have the right to move on. in which case, this will also mean the remaining people have more of a chance to add more of their own contribution. increasing their chances for a gold rating.
also, anyone doing this is most likely farming the area. if you intend to do multiple FATE's, maybe you should consider forming a party. or adding that person to your party. and don't forget, we can also form alliances.

I've walked into a fate before, landed 3 gcds, and got gold.i don't think this is a problem. anyone doing this will have a low contribution, and receive a bronze rating. and if they did contribute enough to receive a gold rating, then they did their fair share of the work. they have the right to move on. in which case, this will also mean the remaining people have more of a chance to add more of their own contribution. increasing their chances for a gold rating.
It is a problem.
I don't believe the answer is to nerf N Than fates. HW fates need a dramatic adjustment across the board. As they are right now they take extremely long to do and give next to no xp reward.
Keep N Than how it is to give people leveling to 50 an alternative to endlessly spamming Aurum Vale (gross), and make it so HW fates are a superior method of leveling to 60.
well then... i sure as hell can't do it. seems like to me that maybe it is specific FATE's with this issue. i have tried the Flash a few times and run to the next FATE trick... never works for me, always bronze. as far as i know, this was something that was fixed quite some time ago. maybe the new 3.0 area FATE's haven't had this fix applied to them.
either way, if this is really happening, then i too agree that the workings of this need to be evaluated. a player shouldn't be getting enough credit for a gold rating with such few actions.
Yes 15k for a HW fate is plain stupid, given the length of time they take.
As to nerfing any old world FATEs..NO just change it so nobody level 55+ can get experience off them.
I pick 55 as it is possible for a player to hit level 54 before gaining access to HW just by MSQ and roulettes

the best method should always be dungeons.
the best will be if the exp rewards of FATEs drop faster if someone outlevel them (like -50% exp if job level is over 5 than FATE level) .
