    Something still feels missing for Bard...

    Hmmm... I feel like I was pumping out a bit more damage in 2.55.

    Now, 50 and lower instances feel lackluster...

    The post-50 stuff feels better now that there's a bit of a boost to WM.

    Yet I can't help but feel something's missing...

    Yea, something is still missing...

    Give the bard a rocket launcher, an electric guitar, eternal godmode... and yea i also want an espresso.

    Yet... i still think something is missing, dont know what.

    This is a serious discussion that I was trying to have, honestly.

    I was being facetious, but it seems some people are hellbent on thinking us greedy tools when we know for a fact we're not doing as well as we use to.

    Post-50 is doing better, for sure...

    But I think the loss of the Old Barrage mechanic has made us suffer a dip in DPS during 50 and lower dungeons.

    To have a good solid chunk of time when every auto attack offered up 3 numbers was pretty awesome and I just think this Barrage pails in comparison to the old.

    Still... this is just MY opinion...

    Not trying to be rude but why does it matter if your dps has gone down for 50 and below content?
    We had an expansion, the max level is 60. That's what they should be focusing on.

    Balancing low level/pre-50 stuff is pretty pointless if you ask me.

    I don't think there's much doubt that pre-50, Barrage's change is a net negative. That change was designed with Wanderer's Minuet in mind, and getting three guaranteed non-critical heavy shots does not make up for 10 seconds of boosted triple auto-attacks that could also crit (and often did with Internal Release and Straight Shot up). That said, we are pretty much one of the best AOE classes now, and that applies to 50 content as well. If you get your DoT effects on everything, use Rain of Death on Cooldown, and Quick Nock, you can pump out some serious AOE with a fairly low TP cost.

    Long story made short, there's actually a skill curve to being a Bard after lv52. Deal with it!

    You do know that for the longest time those ~50 dungeons had no iL cap. You could go into them and school the mobs on how a Hydaelynian Ascian does things. Even after they added an iL cap they downgraded gear as if it was HQ green crafted. Now they've got iL capped as if it was HQ common crafted, which is probably what you're noticing. I don't have a problem with it, personally, as it serves to remind me how to play my class without the gongs and foghorns that is the 51~ ability and gear sets.
