PS4 Launcher Error

I'm getting that error as well. I restarted the PS4, checked that I was connected to the internet, and even went to my notifications and clicked the "Final Fantasy XIV Update File Downloaded" note. The next thing I'll try is a total uninstall/reinstall, but I'd rather not do that on my crappy connection >.>; so I'm hoping this gets resolved before then.

I swear, when ever Ff14 gets an update that adds content PS4 players are always locked out by some connection issue. Either is related to the launcher or the psn network.

PSN has been having issues for a long time now...and it isn't affecting just XIV. There have been a lot of complaints up for other games as well the last week or so. Here is one site that tracks some of it:

Same... What is this issue? We pay I know expansion just came out and all, But this is straight up horrible almost worth not playing because of the issues now days

PSN is undergoing maint. Roughly 2hrs...

Had to relog to fix a connection issue and now I'm locked out. I don't see anything about maint only that ps4 psn has gone down...for a change.

If you google it players can still chat and use Netflix but can't connect to the store or games.

Just saying not trying to start a fight on aforum lol, *currently checking back in but playing destiny online, must be regional*
