So, how is your AST healing in Alexander?

It is still the weakest healer of the three for many, many reasons.

You are so wise, I would never of come to the conclusion a healer with lower potency was weaker than other two.

Alex normal was quite easy on astro, outhealed all the whm/sch parters I had (from parse not eye). No mp issues, even after having to solo heal and raise the bad sch.

Fact is, learning the fight in savage people will probably lean towards whm/sch. But, as soon as its on farm, ast/ast or ast/sch. I'd rather be important on farm than first time clears.

I'd say AST/SCH is the way to go for clearing it faster than the standard WHM/SCH combo. Healing shouldn't be an issue tbh. AST/AST is iffy because your most powerful buff, Expanded Arrow/Balance, does not stack with the fellow ASTs buff.

How often do both astro's have an aoe buff at the same time? One astro puts arrow on top dps, other puts it on second best dps. Not sure the problem.

I've successfully solo healed floors 1-3 on AST. Granted I needed MP from my machinist as aoe healing/benific 2 spam can be draining.

Floor 4 however....

Keep in mind that the SCH is (or he should be) pumping out his own personal DPS. As an off-healer, AST cannot sustain their DPS due to the lack of our MP sustain and "free" cures.

If AST #1 tosses an Extended Arrow on the Monk, with Time Dilation, he has 45 seconds of Arrow. If AST #2 sets up the Expanded Balance with Celestial Opposition, the much bigger Party DPS boost on 8 mans, it will completely overwrite the monks Extended Arrow. I thought you knew this.

Haha a1-3 was easy healing, just the regular routine of healing primals etc. a4 tho ughh my co healers r dumb or something.
I get whms using medica 2 before adds in phase 2. They proceed to pull all 3 or 2 adds and be like halp they r chasing me. Then a few secs after they suicide bomb party and be like how everyone die. Then i get schs who have no idea how to heal tanks during phase 3. Its like hey ast u heal the whole party and tanks and everyone while i shield us etc :3 .
Oddly the ony healers that were competent were asts as they were like i got u bro we understand how ast heals so we in sync.
Its like these whms/ schs never healed before and r learning about tank busters & no aoe heal before adds.

That's really only the case if the AST could provide enough buffs to out DPS SCH/WHM. I'm still skeptical.

And really, normal mode is easy mode for healers. I cleared all levels in Nocturnal Sect for what it's worth. It's not an indicator for anything.

AST/AST is just awful.
Any time you have to use Noctrunal Sect is awful, in fact, because it makes you a Scholar, except your shields all suck and your healing output is a good 30% lower because you have no fairy. And then there's the fact that you don't get unlimited mana and tons of great free heals. Can you imagine the outrage if Dragoons were parsing 30% lower than Ninjas?
30% is just a number off the top of my head, by the way, no theorycraft here. It's probably worse.

I did around 400 dps in every floor with my sch while astro solo healing most of time. In f2 i did 800 dps because of so much aoe. Lets see once real content appear since Alex normal is kinda joke.
