I used DF, I think we wiped like 3 times on the last boss. It wasn't all that bad, but it felt like beating on a sponge for the mini boss.

I can't wait to get home and try this so all the DF commandos can lord over it on Day One. Always my favorite part of a new patch. The casuals get to be hardcore for a day.

Faceroll or not, everyone should just be having fun at this point. Multiple wipes or not.

It depends on who you're with. Like in A2 if Healing isn't organized or there is no sync between them and the tanks things can get a bit hairy, especially if you're not geared up with Hive weapons an all full upgraded Doman gear. But these things don't really matter to people who are seasoned raiders so it can be pretty faceroll for them.

I just did F1 and F2 in DF just to see - doing the whole thing later with raid group.

F1 was a couple of wipes and then just explaining two simple mechanics. F2 was pretty straightforward, but we wiped in the end because the other tank just wouldnt pick up any ads, blamed the healers, everyone argued etc. Typical DF crap.

And i mean it's day 1 - remember day 1 of WoD? Clusterfuck cos nobody knew the mechanics - same thing here, ecxept its just 8 people so you can at least discuss the mechanics in a calm fashion. Give it a week and everyone will know the mechs and it will just be farmable in DF.

I like that they have an EZ mode - I have a static , but there are plenty of people who don't, and simply can't for one reason or another. Plenty like this in my FC, and it's great to see that they can now jump into a raid with a couple of others from FC, or even on their own.

What is it people dont understand about this being story mode. Its easier on purpose so people can get the story. your challenge and epic lootz will be coming soon. but I bet even that wont satisfy some people.

This is the CT mode of this patch, nothing more, nothing less. Make a pf, bring them on a vocal, and finish it in 1 hr. It should be consistently df-able in a few days.

Duty Finder party kept wiping on F1

They voted to abandon and I went back to work. Oh well, maybe better luck later.

It was made to be easy for people to see the story. If you want epic loot wait 2 weeks for Alex savage simple.

Managed to clear all of it through solo queuing for the Duty Finder. First floor was, surprisingly enough, the most difficult one. If missiles weren't being manhandled, we ended up hitting the enrage timer. And that was with me adding a chunk of DPS.

Second floor was a oneshot, the third and fourth took 2 wipes or so and then we killed it. Feels like we did the second floor improperly though, considering that the Magitek mounts deactivated at the second wave already. >_<

I'd compare it to something like the nerfed edition of Second Coil Turn 6 and 7; you're essentially only wiping if you keep messing up important mechanics like thrice in a row.

I'm simply confused at whether or not the ease was actually intended. SE claimed it was going to be harder than ex primals when it very clearly isn't.
