There will be still be "Nerf Alexander Savage" posts, especially if it drops the best gear.
Was disapointed in how easy it was. About as much sense of accomplisment in clearing it as in clearing Neverreap, aka none. Stiry wise, it wasn't any where on par with coil which drew me in and made me look forward to clearing the next turn and the next coil to see the story progress, Alex story was kinda meh in comparison.
How it ends it seems like Alex savage will continue the story.
my problem so far is that people that have cleared it give soooo little info on what the fights do than after 2 wipes they rage quit.. Seriously just gonna go level some alts

I havent found a group to beat the first one yet. After two hours of wiping and ha ing to explain strat to the same group 3 times before they actually understood what to do.
With df groups the difficulty is good imo but I think if you play with actually skilled players first floor should be easy
I hate floor 3's tether mechanic because nobody in DF can:
1. Stay still for me to get the tether off them
2. Agree on whether they want to move away from me, or have me move (when I move, they run after me, as though they are just begging for death)
3. The other tank will not take responsibility to pick up a tether if I'm trapped in the previous +/- mechanic
Does anyone know any other consistent method of dealing with this? I'm running with my static later so it'll be fine then, but in DF I just don't know what to tell these people.
The best strategy I've used is dividing the arena into north and south halves, and marking the very north part with A and the very south with B. One tank take the northern half and one takes the south. The markers indicate where the tank will move to once they pick up the tether. This is just ideal obviously, and should flexibility be required, then be flexible, but otherwise, this makes this specific tactic much easier. It tells your DPS and healers what direction you will be going with the tether.I hate floor 3's tether mechanic because nobody in DF can:

I used DF, I think we wiped like 3 times on the last boss. It wasn't all that bad, but it felt like beating on a sponge for the mini boss.

I can't wait to get home and try this so all the DF commandos can lord over it on Day One. Always my favorite part of a new patch. The casuals get to be hardcore for a day.
Faceroll or not, everyone should just be having fun at this point. Multiple wipes or not.

It depends on who you're with. Like in A2 if Healing isn't organized or there is no sync between them and the tanks things can get a bit hairy, especially if you're not geared up with Hive weapons an all full upgraded Doman gear. But these things don't really matter to people who are seasoned raiders so it can be pretty faceroll for them.
