Summoner a new form of summoning in 4.0

I really just don't understand what it is you summoners actually want. Are you looking for the ability to press a button and Ifrit comes out and does Hellfire for 99999 damage? You want a full size Titan running along side of you? You want to do absolutely nothing and just stand there while your summon battles for you?

Really, what is it that will make you all happy? Because nothing I just said would work. The only thing that would work would be to give your pet more abilities while taking away abilities from the class. And at that point, you're just pressing buttons so does it really matter?

No..they want that 99999 dmg to miss 60% of the time. Hey as long as it looks cool! Since SMN is my main, I'm very happy with my job. I love that Ifrit has a party buff, I pet swap a bit here and there in dungeons.

The ones who complain about the looks of the egi rather the actual function of the job are just people who want to play something pretty. I've accepted the look of the pets, I really thought we would get secondary primals or lesser known ones to command. I am happy with the adjustments to the job and playing the story I get very into my job.

You don't hear a lot of positive posts because..they're actually playing the job and loving it. I never played EQ much, well I did..I was a healer and my favorite thing I saw instantly was the aoe placement regen..and now we have that. Maybe I need to check the pet one out too.

That's another thing I didn't miss from the 11 days, if your pet died you were basically dead in the water unless you could summon your pet back out. I didn't always have Aquaveil up so I would get hit with casting interrupted.

We need more explosions and destruction. I just want colors all over the screen blinding everyone in the duty.

Since lore wise we single handedly kill Primals they really aren't worth the effort of summoning.

Summner should get the ability to summon Hydaelyn and the Twelve because they are the only deities that can be actually summoned. I'm guessing since we skipped trancing with ordianary Primals and went straight to the Elder Primal Bahamut that Summoners will skip over the other Elder Primals and go straight to summomning Hydaelyn and the Twelve.

The Summoner should transform into Hydaelyn by getting filled with her personality and being. With Hydaelyn summoned we can either summon one of the twelve of our choosing which just changes the animation or use Hydaelyns spells and attakcs.
