As dumb as that sounds I wouldn't mind that.

Summon Gaius, who's ultimate is a 30 minute monologue giving you fatherly advice.
the Twelve..... knights ?
it would make sense more than the twelve
There has to be a complain/weird request thread, otherwise this isn't real life. Hi. I was thinking maybe it's better if we could summon all of our triple triad cards at once, isn't that better?

I think summoner should just have modes. Like enter Ifrit mode and your dots would change with it to do something different. Enter Shiva mode and you bind the mob and slow and get MP overtime back. But i feel this is just too hard for SE to do for a job to much stuff to come up with and make for just one job.

We have no actual proof that the Twelve exist anymore than the Primals. In fact it's been directly stated that it was incredibly risky for Louisoix to summon the Twelve to seal Bahamut.
How it was risky is unknown, but it can be inferred that the main risk of summoning in general is that Primals are spiritual constructs that literally pervert the world around them, no matter how good their intention. The Twelve are our gods in the same way that Ifrit, Titan, Garua, Ravana, etc.. are the gods of the Beastmen. They represent hope to the Beastmen in the face of relentless oppression (seriously, the races of Eorzea are pretty awful to the Beastmen). Yet despite this hope, they're inevitably perverted and ultimately incredibly destructive.
The only thing we know that truly exists at this point isHydaelyn. Every other 'god' has turned out to be aetheric constructs created by faith.

Tbh summoning a giant crystal is pretty lame. Give me primals any day.
