The only time it wasn't a damage loss is when you could cast every ability (and by that, I mean not using feint) at 100% uptime and use blanks off cooldown... Which amounts to around a 1-3% dps increase over not using GB, and at a loss when rapid fire bug existed and you instant GB for wildfire's burst.
