Thread: Please help me understand why i should continue to play a repeat of 2.0?

Erepio thats how the discussion turned out sadly it became a Yoshi P Fanboy vs FFXI Fanboys because people turned it into that.
Last time I played WoW my only weapon of joins for Rogue was daggers. Last time I played FFXI my weapon of choice for thf and ninja was pretty much everything.

also all you have done is just ask for FFXI stuff in FFXIV even tho you said u dont want this to be FFXI 2.0..how about u actually come up with ideas on how the features can be implemented in FFXIV


at the end of the day its come down to "i like this game, i dont like it", if you dont like it the i dont know, go play something else?

ps: i disagree with you, i hope we never see most of the FFXI stuff here cuse what FFXI is just a big "wait" for basicly anything it offer zero real challenge, so i must clearly be a YoshiP fanboy, oh wait i also love FFXI, my 1st MMO, and i consider myself a FFXI fanboy and still play that too when i want that type of gameplay

2 Specs cant be played without a dagger equiped. And for the third spec all weapon types have essentially the same effect. (they used to give different effects...years ago)

idk. If u dont enjoy the game then u dont need to force yourself to play it . I dont mean that negatively towards you OP.

I can only say ur the only one who can tell to yourself why you should play FFXIV or not ^^

LineageRazor again stuff that was awesome in FFXI but where not good you could use them here and improve them. I think alot of people wouldnt mind different weapons from time to time. It gives you more freedom when playing. Right now it is still a very locked in envoirment. I doubt that will change the same goes with the gears. What is wrong with gears have -10% damage taken or other specifics? That makes the stuff more enjoyable right now all we get is these 4 different stats on each gear piece unless we overmeld stuff into a 5th or 6th stat.

The formula has worked in other games and it has worked here since launch.

They've made some changes in how crafting/gathering works.... then there's BRD.

So by having a 2.0 reskinned as 3.0 with everything exactly the way it was isnt broken?
