Horn and Hand Faction Leves Rewards

Since game inception, Horn and Hand faction leves have always been rather insignificant in relation to the other two factions, in that no NM's and no associated drops. Initially, on occasion, however, some very nice drops popped up that made these leves worthwhile. Since the last patch the rewards for Horn and Hand leves have been reduced to such items as hempen bowstring, iron nugget, undyned velveteen, etc.

The question I have of the developers is why? Do you think it appropriate that 100/200/300 hard earned faction points should be rewarded in such an insignificant way? You can't even get quild marks for these, as far as I know, and I say 'as far as I know', because I've been sitting on 1000 points now for months.

This faction, and the associated leves are so insignificant now, that you might just as well remove it/them entirely from the game. At least in doing so, we don't spend any more time accumulating TOTALLY worthless faction points in the place of the other two, pertinent factions.

The vintage stuff now drops from the chests inside the leves

There is still vintage stuff from Faction Leve, but they are rarer. I've also seen Frayed Cotton Doublet and Darkened Scale Mail back in HnH after 1.18, as reward. What strike me though, that since the recommended class is All, perhaps DoH/DoL can also get SP reward for completing HnH unlike AS or BB, but on the other hand HnH does not offer Guild Marks like those two.

Yes DoL/H can get sp off of these quests.

I think getting a boar leather strap or something else equally worthless for an end reward from those H&H leves is bogus....

This may be, but I don't want to spend 300 hard earned faction points to find that I just received as a chest reward my 4th rotting square shield. For the amount of time and effort expended to accumulate this amount of points, I should have the lattitude of seeing the reward and deciding whether or not it's worth it.

I just thought of a suggestion for those bogus rewards. If they are going to continue giving such rewards in the future, at least make them +3 rewards. It will make them much more appealing to people.

I'm glad this thread is up, since I was just about to post something similar. I really REALLY hope they improve all Faction leve rewards, because as they are...it really doesnt seem to make sense to waste points at lower levels. Faction leves are supposed to be somewhat more challenging or rewarding than normal leves, but they dont seem to reflect that.
