Neverreap - Vulnerability debuff

Just before reaching the last boss, after killing the 2 giraffes (Dhalmel ?), there is a last area where you fight multiple adds and dance around the geysers.

At some point, some vulnerability debuff may be thrown onto the party members and they are extremely nasty to heal. Moving the adds back to the ground instead (where you fought the giraffes) will let the debuff apply but without doing ANY damage.

Help your healers please. It's just a few steps to make.

The vulnerability debuff is from the elbst mob and is applied by the ability acid spit or something. You can interrupt it. So unless your tank / DPS is bad, you should never get hit by vulnerability.

You don't even have to interrupt it, just kill that mob first and it won't have a chance to use it. It takes a very, very long time before it starts casting it.

If you're healing on SCH and the AoE does go off, simply hit Selene's Fey Caress to insta-cleanse everyone.

The elbst uses it after three Flash Floods if it's not dead by then. Don't count on it to be stunned, because the move (Acid Shower) doesn't have any AoE indicator on it, meaning it will escape the radars of most players.

The best way to deal with this is to have single-target DPS focus the elbst first and make sure it dies asap. As the tank, the elbst is one of the mobs I actually bother to mark with a 1, in an effort to try to convey to the DPS {Defeat this one first!}

If the add is alive that long then the group you are in is really terrible. Most people won't even see it even in a baseline gear group which you hardly get anymore since the majority have got to 60 and geared up.

I had no idea about that debuff even afer clearing Neverreap with the worst parties ever...
