Prefix and suffix title at the same time

Has there ever been any word from SE regarding the possibility of being able to use one prefix and one suffix title at the same time? Even just a "maybe some day" kind of statement?

How would I see anyone past that much text on screen?

FFXIV's titles can be a bit... wordy. Combining prefix and suffix titles worked in other MMOs because the prefix titles were generally honorifics and such (i.e. really short). I don't think it would work well here without turning a player's name plate into three lines of text which is a bit much. Most MMOs also don't use surnames, or the surname is treated like a suffix title, so the nameplates here in FFXIV are already considerably more cramped.

I do think we need some new UI for handling titles though. My title selection menu is a horrifically long list now and there is no way to identify where titles came from.

RIFT had a few long titles and had surnames. Yeah, some people tried to be obnoxious, but I don't think that's a good enough reason to deprive others of the feature shout it be something that SE would otherwise want to provide.
