    No Prompt To tie to Service account PS4

    Okay, I'm not sure if anyone else is having this problem. I know the hard copies have had some serious issues here.

    But i bought a digital Copy from the PSN store of Heavensward. When i Downloaded it, and ran the game, I was supposedly suppose to receive a Prompt to Tie the Expansion to my SE Service Account But no such thing happened. I have, tried Re-downloading Heavensward on multiple occasions now, and have even deleted the entire game and tried redownloading from scratch. and still no success.

    I want to know if there is something i am missing here. Because, i cannot access any of the new game content period right now, after having spent 40 bucks i would like to be able to play the game that i have spent my money on.

    And before anyone says anything. Yes i have FF14:ARR and like Heavensward i bought it through the PSN store. I am growing extremely frustrated that i cannot enjoy this expansion, due to some technical Difficulty, that i cannot seem to find any assistance on. And I have even tried contacting SE support with no success, as the Live chat, after a 2 hour wait in que, said there were no available Agents to talk to. And i even tried calling, and never got through to a live Agent. So I'm hoping to get some help via these forums.

    You're not the only one suffering from this. I have redownloaded the game 2 times already and nothing happens. I was in the live chat with SE and they could not help me, nor they know what hell is going on.

    Not only is frustrating to pay 40 dollars for a game you can't play, paying a subscription for it and not being able to access it. I can access the game just fine on the PC.

    I just got off the Phone with Square, They're saying call Playstation if the reinstall isnt working. Issue is is PSN is down right now, so theres no point. But i guess, they can do something to help you tie the service account. The guy n the phone wasent to specific, but, says it should work. So just gotta wait for Playstation to start working again.

    same here, bought the digital version on amazon, downloaded the 1.7 gb and nothing happens.
    contacted square via ticket and they sent me this:

    PlayStation®3 / PlayStation®4 (PlayStation Network download version)
    Manual promotion code registration will not be necessary as the full game entitlement was automatically linked to your Sony Entertainment Network account at the time you purchased the game. Please follow the steps below to register the rights to your Square Enix account once the official launch has taken place.
    1. Launch FINAL FANTASY XIV and follow the directions that appear.
    2. Here you will be able to attach Heavensward to your FINAL FANTASY XIV service account. Select "Next" to complete the registration process.
    * If you possess multiple service accounts, you will see all of the service accounts that you can register the code to.
    * Please verify that the service account you have selected displays the character names and Worlds that you wish to grant access to Heavensward content.
    * Please be careful, as Heavensward access will only be granted to the service account that you select. Other services accounts will need a separate purchase of Heavensward in order to receive access.

    getting no where it seems

    Okay. 3, days now so far, still no solution for this problem. It is becoming even worse of an annoyance as this continues. I contacted Square in regards to the no prompting issue to tie the account to my Square Service Account. They told me to contact Sony support, to find a resolution. Still nada from that as they simply told me to contact Square support. So now i'm gonna do that and see what happens!

    I really want to get this resolved quickly, and get on my game!

    I deleted the games reinstalled it for the fourth time. The game recognizes the expansion and when the loader of the expansion ends, boom! Back to A Realm Reborn. I canceled my subscription until this thing is fixed.

    Testing some stuff

    Okay, So, contacted PS support, got someone with a brain this time! Woo!

    There are a few different things you can try, One, Delete the game, EVERYTHING, this includes, the application data. So go to your settings, go to system storage management, and go to application saved data. delete the FF14 System data, and then delete FF14. then, go to your Playstation Network/Account Managment page (still in settings) and Restore Licenses. Then Reinstall everything from there.

    Now, I'm in the middle of trying this, don't know if it will work, Sony guy says, theres been some success from doing this for some People, but it is a long, annoying process. Will get back on here, and give an update on if it works. Just putting this out there if anyone else wants to try it, and give their feedback.

    I noticed something while digging in my playstation account information. There is no Licensing for Heavensward listed anywhere. So contacting Playstation Support again to see if this can be fixed in some way. Cause, if there's no license, even if the software is installed it's not going to register it. Will keep ya'll informed.
