    Completed Quests Disappearing

    Hello! Sorry, I'm new;;

    Currently I'm a lv.8 and was turning in finished quests in La Noscea (all had a green check-mark), when all of a sudden the quests I had disappeared from the map and journal after I turned in the one for the waitress, a lv.4 quest I think. The green-checks were gone on the map and when I went to talk to one of the NPCs they had nothing for me but dialog.

    I tried looking for an answer to this without any luck. Any idea what happened? Did I out-level the turn-ins? Someone in-game mentioned that the Game "culls" quests after I reach a certain level, but that wouldn't make sense.. or does that really happen?

    Thanks in advance;;

    Was it just the one quest you turned it that disappeared? Or all of the quests you currently had?
    If it was just the one quest..then yeah. Quests are not repeatable. Only guildleves are repeatable quests.

    If you mean you had more than one quest ready to turn in and they ALL disappeared then that sounds more like a glitch..

    If you have too many quests registered, only the newest ones will display markers on the minimap.
    You have to manually toggle the checkbox besides quests to show on top on your journal in this case for the green area markers to show on the minimap.

    You can check which quests you have in progress or completed by looking in the journal (under duty in the menu). Those quests should be in the limsa lominsa section of "current" quests, or under the lominsan sidequests drop down bar if you tab over to completed quests.

    Also, quest "culls" is totally not a thing, and you cannot outlevel quest turn ins.

    Thanks for the replies everyone! Yes, when I turned in the one quest, all the others which were complete disappeared, from the map and my quest log. So I went from having 7 quests down to 2. Looks like it was a glitch. ;x; I'll send a report.

    @ Dustbunny: Thanks for the info!

    The closest thing I can think of to a legitimate occurrence of something similar comes when you start unlocking guildleves. In that case, you'll get a sidequest that asks you to do a trial guildleve (a special type of repeatable quest). For instance, the quest "Leves of Horizon" will ask you to do the leve "What Peistes Crave". Once you do so, turning it in completes both the leve and the quest at once. (And then there are similar pairs of quest and leve for unlocking each of the other guildleve locations you'll get to.)

    But for one thing, that only clears two things from your quest journal at once, not five, and the first doesn't come until level 10. So it doesn't account for what you saw at level 8.

    So yeah, a glitch I guess (though I don't recall having heard of such glitches in this game before)
