    Striking Dummies Suggestions

This is an idea I've had for a while regarding end-game content and striking dummies. As everyone is aware, parsing, while banned, is still a very real thing and is used regularly as a method for measuring dps. Now, being a PS4 player, if i wanted to go ahead and go against the ToS and get a parser, i can't, meaning there is no way for me to measure my dps and frankly, places a lot of PS4 players at a disadvantage and as a consequence there are a lot of PS4 players that, plainly speaking, just don't know how bad they really are. This is largely due the fact we have absolutely no way of knowing our avg dps values. My suggestion to remedy this is the Striking Dummies.

My suggestion is to make a new type of Striking Dummy with the purpose of testing ones actual dps values. With the new striking dummies it could come up as personal HUD element on the screen once you engage it that starts to track you dps values. Also, next to the striking dummy could be an NPC that you could place settings on such as an ACC Cap, time limit, level, etc. Once you've completed the time limit you will automatically disengage and you can talk to the NPC where he/she will give more specific information such as peak dmg, overall dmg, average dps, amount of misses, etc.

My hopes for this idea is to make it so people who play dps and are curious to play the endgame content can measure where they are at and perhaps seek advice from more seasoned players. The DPS tracking data would be solely for attacker's eyes and it would be their choice as to whether or not to share this information or keep it to themselves. By implementing this, i believe that it could improve player performance overall while continuing to keep the DPS hazing to a minimum for all players.
