I went for high retrieval instead of speed. Did I do something wrong? Still nothing but logs and branches from 24.

Did you max out the forecastle? We've been getting a lot of sticks too and maybe that's just bad rng luck, but those that have juiced up their forecastle appear to be having a much better time of it. Our best ship was inv/bronc/tat/tat, but it's been renamed the SS Stick Getter since the patch for a reason. We're slowly working on adjusting the ship parts, but it's rather depressing that the current parts that were working decently before the patch are now nearly worthless.

edit: And after I post this the stick getter brings back some V materia, an iron voyage spoil, some crafting materia and of course to top it off, half a stack of hq birch branches.
