    Is it necessary to fix components before sending the airship even when you know some will break?

    Nope - you only can't send out ships when a component is at 0% - if its even at 1%+ you can send it out and get another trip done ^^

    I thought that sending an airship with low durability components to multiple sectors in a trip could lead to the things breaking down partway through, causing the trip to have poorer results. Did I imagine that?

    I've had plenty of A or B runs with ships parts breaking down midway - if there is a difference we would need a whole new column of people entering % before and after trips, and all for something that probably doesnt affect anything. I still believe it works like many other things in this game, the second you commence something the outcome is already determined - best example: Fishing - the fish you get and its quality is set the second you throw out your hook, not the second it bites. aka: You send out the ship and your rewards are already determined - you just get them after the timer runs out.

    That would make sense, and believing it would save me a ton of money on dark matter clusters. I'll do it your way until I see some real evidence that midway breakages effect results. Thanks!
