I made a new tab in the log spreadsheet to track the items in a static format so I can group them into categories, insert the items no one has found yet, and check for patterns. I see you're doing the same thing in the OP, Bonzai! Here's what I've found:

Each sector has exactly the following: 1 FC Crafting material. 1 Schematic item. 1 Unique housing/minion material. 1 Generic Crafting material. 2 Crystals. And I have no idea how much Materia. The Materia is the one that we don't have enough datapoints for a clear analysis.

Awesome! Yeah I noticed a pattern when I was making the new graphics for sector details, quite interesting ^_^ It seems like sectors have materia themes, some of them seem to be best to visit if looking for crafting materia, some for gathering materia, and then the majority for DoW/DoM. As Waring believed, some sectors drop type III and some type III, and a few seem to have a chance at both.

I hope I wasn't the culprit for the copy/paste errors, I think I might have misunderstood what you meant when you mentioned it before. I'll be more careful. I can't thank you enough for the spreadsheet, it has been so useful \o/ I'm a tad behind on data entry but i've been saving screenshots to enter on a rainy day.

Would really like to know that as well - im sending out my only airship (because duh) which is at rank 12 now only with sector 1 2 3 exp to sector 2 since 3 weeks to unlock Sector 4 and 5 and... nothing - its getting annyoing to say the least - the most EXP ill make if i get two perfect surveys is 52k, which is less then sector 5 gives and its.... lets say - really annoying and hindering the progress ><
Originally i wanted to skip the rank 10 airship parts and go to rank 15 (enterprise) right away to save materials because i mean its a rank 1 sector, so the rank 1 airship should be enough to discover new sectors - right? q.q
