Depends on how many sectors you want to visit per trip. I think the 3 sector route I'm using right now is in the 80's so any extra range is just a waste.I've been looking through the last 7 pages of the thread for airship builds and I've been looking into getting really high Retrieve but low Speed. I can't decide between these two (https://i.gyazo.com/7e5328d9d9436da2...ef9ecf45.png); I already decided on what my 3 ship builds are going to be in the future. Can anyone help me decide on 1?
If you want to do 3 sectors per trip then 98 range should be enough, for 4 you'll need ~110+ I think.
Hey guys, I know there is a letter from the producer where they take questions sometimes, or at least I think that is how it works. The next one is Tokyo Game Show. I think it would be really good to ask about how many sectors are actually implemented at the moment. Although I love the mystery of which sector unlocks 23, I'd also like to know if it is actually out there yet!
Does anyone know the best way to ask a question to be answered? Is there a forum thread? The announcement post didn't post any info about that.
As a bonus, here is the snippet of a conversation I was having with an FC mate about it:
[12:01:44 PM] Bonzai Ferroni: hmmm it seems the next letter from the producer is at the Tokyo gameshow
[12:01:50 PM] Bonzai Ferroni: will you fly me out there?
[12:02:13 PM] Ray Vales: Sure Bon!
[12:02:39 PM] Bonzai Ferroni: maybe ducky can take me?
[12:03:04 PM] Ray Vales: Good idea!
[12:03:30 PM] Ray Vales: if you crash an airship right into where they are talking and start asking if this is sector 23
[12:04:14 PM] Bonzai Ferroni: i'll run around and say i'm looking for dusk leather
Usually they open a thread in the community or live letter section for questions ahead of the event. Maybe because it's going to be in Tokyo they haven't opened it in the english subsection of the forums? I looked briefly through and couldn't find one.Hey guys, I know there is a letter from the producer where they take questions sometimes, or at least I think that is how it works. If you're on Moogle and got 2 left over /t me - ill pay you 200k for them so i can finally build the parts q.q
/edit: Someone just sold me 2 and i can finally get to work yay ;3

nvm irrelevant post now XD
Haven't seen this linked in the OP, so I just wanted to let people know about another tool I recently learned about that helps figure out what materials you need for your airship: Airship Calculator.
This is AH-MAZING! Or maybe I'm just easily impressed with web apps, who knows. Either way I think I'll be using this. Thanks for the link! I guess the only thing this is missing (which most are) is minimum level requirements to turn in some of these items unless I'm missing it somewhere...Haven't seen this linked in the OP, so I just wanted to let people know about another tool I recently learned about that helps figure out what materials you need for your airship: Airship Calculator.
On another note: Bonzai, the table on the front page is wrong for Sector 10, it should be rank 27 minimum to go there not rank 26. Thanks!

is there already something existing like a route calculator?
i think about using tatanora for and aftcastle, but I only end up with 84 range and I would like to know whats possible with that setup c.c
There is a route calculator link at the bottom of Bonzai's 2nd post on the first page of the guide, check it out, it's pretty good!
