    whats your success rate with unlocking new sectors with your airship build? is it down to rng in your opinion or do you find new ones fast?

    I've been going with this setup on my 2 Rank 50 ships:

    Hull - Invincible
    Rigging - Enterprise
    Forecastle - Tatanora or Invincible-II
    Aftcastle - Invincible-II or Tatanora

    This lets me visit 2 of the deep sectors on either ship, gives me high surveillance/favor on one and high retrieval on the other and doesn't take forever to make the trips. With the Enterprise rigging and Invincible-II Aftcastle, a trip to SC21 & SC22 takes ~61 hours.

    I have to strongly recommend the Invincible-II forecastle. A significant number of endgame ships will need it. In order to use an Enterprise forecastle and still reach the adult sectors (17+), you'd have to use at best an Enterprise aftcastle, and that's really low retrieval. Bronco and Invincible Forecastles can't reach the endgame sectors at all. An Invincible-II forecastle allows for any aftcastle. When I was trying to design ships for minimal parts overlap so we could make one of each and have that be enough, I kept winding up with having three Invincible-II forecastles between the four ships, with nothing else overlapping.

    Hi guys. Need some advice. I will go through this entire thread (read first post and TY to whoever posted it). I read that our ships will NOT be able to use all top tier parts. OK. We just made our Invincible II parts a few days ago and we're about to equip the last one. Now, I realize that out level 50 ship (we're 48 now) will have different parts. I understand what part does what etc but I would like opinions.

    What mix would you have at level 50? Those parts are costly and I'm never ashamed to ask for help or the opinion of others. I'm sure there's a ton of answers so far but man there's 50 pages!! I will read it all soon enough but I'd like more opinions for now. I read one two posts above. I just want to see if it's backed up or...

    Go back to the start and check out the third post. I've added details there about what sorts of ship designs I'd recommend and what various ones are good for.

    Right now the trips are taking about 100 Hours but its an S Rank almost every time.
    If you don't mind answering, how long was the overall travel for an airship with that speed?

    Probably really close to 93 hours!


    One thingy to keep in mind is that using your Aetherial Wheel Stand can save your company up to 3,000 - 4,000 Credits per day on activating company actions! If you're large enough to sustain a daily company action, then you can probably support 3-4 Airships at once with the Credits you save

    I have an airship hitting up the big boy sectors (18>17>21>20) on bronco sails and it is a 156 hour trip ^^;

    Considering that double sector trips (18>17) with Odyssey sails were taking 55 hours or so it doesn't seem so bad really.

    Bronco sail has the added side-benefit that it looks a lot better then any of the propellers.
