Rank 23 airship with full upgrades.. still havent even unlocked sector 6 yet.. let alone 7 or 8....

What the hell am I doing wrong? Haven't been using any bronco parts for several levels now

Had the same problem, airship rank 20+ and no sector 6. What i did was to send the airship on sector 5 alone instead of multiple sectors to maxime exp, and it unlocked 6 and 7 togheter.

Just hang in there! It can take a few trips. Right now we are in the same position with sectors 13/14, have visited 11 4x times now with nothing to show for it!

To double check, you are visiting sector 5 on every trip?

Hello Guys, need a little help there.

Our aircraft is rank 27 but we have not unlocked sector 7 and of course not sector 8 either. But i saw that many of you have already unlock sector 7 and 8 before the rank 30.
Something strange for us is that the game says the we cannot reach sector 7 before reaching rank 30, but it don't seems to be the case for all of you. Someone can explain me a bit ? I can also add some comments about what we have and such.

Just hang in there, it can take a few trips and a bit of luck! Some people seem to get it right away and for some people it takes longer.

What are the current thoughts on each stats purpose?

My theories are in the OP but i'm also really curious what other people are thinking about this too!

I have tried both sector-5-only and multi-sector (with sector 5) and nether have worked

using all upgrades possible with highest forecastle

EDIT: just hit 24.. still no sector 6,7, or 8

Wow, that's a pretty raw deal Just try to keep in there! I know it's tough to hear but sometimes this is how probabilities run, some get really lucky, others get what seems like terribly long bad streaks (think about those hasty touch dry spells).

How the hell did I unlock sector 11 two levels early and yet my retard airship still cant unlock 7-8 for a 2nd airship....? (or 9-10 for that matter >.<)

Flight details:
Path was 2, 5, 6
This was using invincible hull and aftcastle, and enterprise rigging and forecastle.
Weather for sector 2 "high winds" for the first item, but "violent turbulence" for the second item found
Weather for sector 5 "violent turbulence" and resulted in only one item found
Weather for sector 6 was "no wind or turbulence found" for the first item, but "violent turbulence" for the second item found
NO "sector unlocked" message in voyage log... only found out I unlocked 11 after finalising the report

Soo.. I'm back again to provide some disgusting news....

My FC didn't get its 2nd airship until rank 30... and HAS NOT DISCOVERED A SINGLE SECTOR SINCE RANK 29!!! We hit rank 50 today....

I have been sending this fucking airship out to sectors 10 and 11 for 20 ranks now and not a single sector discovered... WTF SE?

Hell... our 2nd airship is now almost high enough to start exploring the same sectors (rank 29)....

Now we are rank 29 and still no sector 7 unlocked... we're doing this since 2 weeks and still nothing :/

Maybe we should try a trip only to sector 5 ?
