Awesome, always great to find those new items! We've also found raw celestine, I did some looking and you can use it to make Celestine lvl 54 recipe, GSM, master recipe book. This is similar to garlond steel and farreach canvas, so maybe something that will be needed for future airship parts?

You need Celestine for 4th tier of Airship parts (Invincible II). You need 9 Celestine and 9 Garlond Steel for every Invincible II part

Did you happen to visit sector 2 in that trip? I noticed that sector 2 is closest to 5 on the map, so I supposed that it was the sector that unlocked 5. This was a pure guess. I noticed that when you get the unlock message in your flight log, it comes after the sector that unlocks it, just after the message that you've changed course to the next sector.

Yes, but the message appeared after it said changing course to sector 04. Maybe it appears at the end instead of the beginning? If so, the message is misleading... Now that you mention it, yeah, I'm starting to think that I misreported that. Maybe when it goes something like
<sector 02 report>
<sector 02 rating>
<timestamp>
Changing Course to Sector 04
Sector 05 discovered!
<sector 04 report>

it actually means you discovered Sector 05 in Sector 02, it's just putting the message in a confusing spot. Or maybe it's because you changed course from 02 toward 04? I think I'll amend the airship log to better mark where a new sector is found...

Also, I'll remove from the spreadsheet the "second item found" thing. If you found a second item, fill out the second item section. If not, don't. It seems there is always a second item, but sometimes you do get it and sometimes you don't. I have never seen a case where there was no second item found.

For some reason you can add more than 1000 characters when you edit a post after you initially post it! I agree, that is a silly thing XD It is why my posts tend to "grow" over time

For 99% of my posts, I write up the post, ctrl-a, ctrl-x, then actually post "asdfasdfasdf" <_< then edit, ctrl-a, ctrl-v, save. I'm just waiting for the day someone catches me in the middle of that and replies to my "asdfasdfasdf" post xD Sometimes, I post "placeholder" instead, which is just long enough to count, and less embarrassing if someone actually sees it.

Running a ship with Invincible Hull and Invincible Forecastle, Rest Bronco Parts for increased detection and efficiency.

Aborted 2. gathering attempts in sector 4-5 dropped from 45% for bronco only ship to 0% (so far).

Weather conditions improved a little bit overall but it seems there is still a huge random factor favoring bad conditions.

Number and Quality of items gained is hard to judge because of random conditions, but they increased a bit. Only crystals gives strange results which are more random then tied to stats or conditions.

Unlocked sector 5 at rank 9 or 10 (it didn't show up in logs but with rank up message), other sector discovery was mentioned in the log.

Didn't discovered sectors behind sector 5 so far, but i am only rank 12 at the moment. Maybe there are different requirements like "has visited a sector and met minimum rank requirements" for a unlock.

Hey guys and gals, I just launched my first airship flight last night, so I will try to keep a detailed log of events and keep up with everything that happens from scratch, it might help out a bit. I do have one question, do my crafting levels have anything to do with what I can build in the company crafting machine? If so is this info logged anywhere? If not this might be relevant information to have in the guide and something to keep an eye out for.

Projects can be started regardless of your levels. However each specific item turn in has its own level requirement. In order to turn these in you need to have that class to atleast that level. Keep an eye on these, as some are level 50-52 requirements (possible higher with tier IV+ parts)
