The dev team had a 1 year plan all laid out with the opening of ishgard, player run companies, shipbuilding, new UI, etc etc, which we would all have by now had Yoshi not entered the fray and spoiled everything.

I'd rather have that than what we have now; mediocrity.

Hahaha do you even read what you post? Yes they said that as a probably have at a year, I bet they were like with this horrible coding we actually won't make it in a year. So what do they do slowly fix everything as they go on and are getting to it, who is to say we wont get shipbuilding, player run companies and the opening of ishgard in the future.

HE NEVER FULFILLED HIS PROMISES!!!! and if he did... it took YEARS!!!!) So get off your soap box and think... seriously I bet you that if Tanaka was in charge right now, we would have none of that, or if we did it would be so broken no one would enjoy it. Now if he had not done it as I said... he would pretend he never said it and for the next 5 years we would keep asking Tanaka, "Hey were are these Player Companies or Shipbuilding?!?!?!" and the response we would get "And in these patch you will be getting..... Fields of Valor!" Where we respond for the next 3 years "where is Player COmpanies or shipbuilding?!?!?" Rinse and repeat... because that was how FFXI was run under Tanaka.

Thank you OP for saying this again for us who actually believe in how this game will turn out! Though I do have to say XD these posts do happen every week or 2 but they speak for us that actually see a future for this game and we thank you and Yoshi, and the Dev team for what they do.

Also to amend my bashing Tanaka post: I don't care who is in charge as long as they make a game that is as memorable as XI was so I can make friends have fun and experience a world that is to be enjoyed. Though I do have to say I was let down by XIV as soon as Tanaka said that the races would be so similiar to XI's.... I was hoping like every other FF that they PC Race's would look radically different.... except of course Hume XD!!! but seriously my first response 2 years ago was... what?!?! why are they the same races?!!? I want to try something new!!!!

Yoshida as we can clearly see is about doing good on his promises. Tanaka is just a huge dreamer...maybe too big of ideas. Don't diss the man with the awesome hair...The majority of us did like FF11. His genius brain ideas just couldn't be realized by his development team.

On the other note we've had pretty much some major patches every month or every other month. There's a good cycle of updates going on. After they establish the core of the game content will come out on a more regular and continual basis...you gonna build the framework before you can build the ship or your ship will sink...but once it's ready to sail it'll keep on going with few obstacles.

Again I ask for patience and respect...
