    Good Job, SE on Japan Earthquake Donations!

    This is just a quick "thank you" to both Square-Enix and to those who donated Crysta to aid the victims of the terrible natural disaster in Japan.

    From March 23rd to August 31st, 2011, Square Enix collected donations of Square Enix Crysta to help provide aid to the areas affected by the Tohoku earthquake. We are proud to announce that a total of 7,281,788 yen (donations of Crysta made from outside of Japan were converted to Japanese yen) was collected. Our heartfelt gratitude goes out to all those who participated and helped make this fundraiser a success.

    On September 26th, 2011, all donations were given to the Japanese Red Cross Society's Tohoku earthquake relief fund.

    We thank you for your support, and would like to express our sincerest wishes for the speedy recovery of all areas affected by this disaster.

    Yeah good jobs, I was a little disappointed it was only $96,000 U.S. but when I think about it being just from SE fans, its actually really good for subgroup of a population.
