FFXIV can't be minimized with DX11, or it's just me?

If I Alt + tab the game I can see other programs but the game is not minimized but enter in windowed mode that it's really annoyng because it burn a lot of resources.

Is it just my problem or a common one?
Can I fix it in any way?
(I'm using W8)

I have been seeing the same issue. It's very strange sometimes when this happens.

Have you tryed clicking the 'Show Desktop' button on your taskbar...its at the very far right on the end next to your clock, its not labelled but its there, that might work for you, atleast until a fix is sorted

I can confirm this is still an issue. Can't minimize the game, and the constant updates in the log keep the taskbar from auto hiding. It's really annoying to deal with.

Yes I confirm it, IT is not fixed.
Before when I Alt + Tabbed the game the window width was the same of the Fullscreen and it was half above the screen, now the window is fine with screen resolution but it is still a window! :P

Other games with DX11 behave the same. I think this is more the Windows API DirectX 11 problem.

Dunno if its a problem with DX11 itself but it's annoying and they must try to fix this and give us official feedback on this.
