Need more appealing Prize at Gold Saucer

Except not every player actually has the expansion pack and thus has access to flying - Gold Saucer is a 2.0 area, not a 3.0 area. So adding a flying mount there wouldn't work as they'd have to make it available for everyone who has the expansion or not.

Having said that new prizes are always a good thing - I just don't see them specifically adding flying mounts to GC's prize pool I'm afraid.

And there is nothing wrong with moving on to 3.0. The next patches will obivously continue from heavensward.

was hoping for a large upgrade to the list of obtainable items when xpac came out.. but.....

Yeah the prizes really need a huge boost. Some of the clothes are nice, but not all of them. The minions sure, yeah. But all the really nice stuff costs so much MGP. If you're not good at Triad and aren't lucky with Mini Cactpot, it takes forever to earn for just those few nice things. I thought it was a little ridiculous and totally unfair that they added a DRK weapon but not an AST or a MCH weapon.
