People actuall care about commendations?....I mean, yeeeah, you should of defo recevied that chat box message which in the end, means nothing at all.

Well if you like the gold magitech mount but honestly I just recently earned it and have no real need to use it as I spend more time in the flying areas haha.

I honestly feel that thing is an insult, as long as it actually takes to get the coms for that mount, you're reward is the exact same mount you already had, but colored gold.

In all seriousness though the Gold Magitek is probably only good for collecting reasons (for completionists). I haven't used my vanilla one after I got Griffin and good ol' blackie (Black Choco).

Yes actually. As someone who has the Parade Chocobo, I can confirm that it does indeed fly like the regular Fat Chocobo. And yes, it IS hilarious to see.
