Have you uhm...maybe though like.... they commended dps/tanks? This might be crazy talk, but it happens!i180 SCH with hive weapon, 300-500 DPS on every pull and boss, swiftcast stoneskin + adlo on the tank before every pull, adlo + deployment tactics before every boss pull, no one ever even close from dying, dispelled every single debuff the same second it was applied, used selene and fey wind to further boost party dps, used stuff such as eye for an eye, virus and rouse constantly to further mitigate and make life's tank easier, anticipated aoe boss attacks with indomitability to give the party the impression everything was under control by having everyone topped permanently.
Dungeon is over. Zero commendations.
Might as well remove the whole commenndation thing because it's clearly a farce.

So the tank commended one of the other 2 BRDs? Which one? The one who was doing 100 DPS less than me on bosses or the one who sat with his mana full the entire dungeon (you know, foe requiem is a thing when you have a healer that is genuinely DPSing stuff hard).
You sound like an Elitist Jerk, and this is why parses aren't endorsed by Square Enix.
Out of curiousity, if that was a post by a DPS saying something like "Which one? The heals who wasn't casting protect or the tank who never used flash?"
Would he still be an elitist jerk, or is it only elitist when you point out someone doing crappy DPS or a DPS not using their support skills?

It's not what you say but how you say it that makes the difference, IMHO.Out of curiousity, if that was a post by a DPS saying something like "Which one? The heals who wasn't casting protect or the tank who never used flash?"

Too true, but my point is that is irrelevant to DPS meters. You can still sound like a jerk bashing a healer or a tank, and you can sound polite when discussing DPS numbers. DPS Parsers don't create elitism. I've seen plenty of elitist players in games where there are no parsers (Guild Wars 2) and I've seen plenty of people who are not elitist using parsers (WoW, Wildstar and here).

I was, in a way, agreeing with you. Parsers can be a useful tool but it has a lot of potential for issues, If there are problems now they will only get worse with using one. Not everyone uses mods and i find it kinda stupid to have them be required. i remember playing WoW and seeing people get kicked for not having "DBM". I feel that if some form of a mod ends up being critical to the playing of a game then the devs need to find a way to incorporate it into their systems rather than some 3rd party thing. If they have parsers, I think it would be best added by way of a personal parser, not seeing other peoples, only your own. You can go online or elsewhere to see other peoples DPS and the level, ilevel, and gear they were using so you can compare your numbers.Too true, but my point is that is irrelevant to DPS meters. 1. A person who believes that they are superior to others (and thus deserve favored status) because of their intellect, social status, wealth, or other factors.
Basically, being a condescending douche bag over trivial things like "low DPS". Basically it's the arrogance that makes you an elitist jerk.
If a DPS were being arrogant over a tank, like bursting full cooldowns before the tank even touches the mob and then goes "L2 tank noob trash", then they are an elitist jerk potential purposefully griefing.

They're probably just forgetting to commend you. I'd recommend reminding them.
At the end of every dungeon, be sure to say something along the lines of "Hey, everyone! I was an absolutely spectacular healer in this run! Remember to commend me for all of my stellar work!"
You'll definitely get more commendations. I *coughs* totally guarantee it.
You sound like a horrible person I would hate to have on my run, I probably wouldn't commend you either.
