That's extremely petty. At least give the person a chance...lol. Besides, you don't have to run a parser. If a SCH is generating a lot of aggro and DoTs are on mobs, you can rest assured they're doing some nice damage.

I took the time and consideration to read what every single person in this thread had to say, I've read a lot, and I'm tired...of being insulted, bullied and mocked. Crinale is one of the best cars of a game I used to play with a friend that died many years ago, so it holds a great significance for me.

Is someone kind enough to tell me how I can delete/close this thread? I've been looking it up and I couldn't find anything, I tried myself but I don't seem to be able to close it or delete it. Do I have to request it to a mod through here?

If someone makes a thread specifically to cry about not getting a commendation, getting mocked is pretty warranted.

In your opinion perhaps. I don't attempt to make someone feel like they're dirt over something so insignificant. Maybe that's just me.

The OP wants recognition for going above and beyond. That is not unreasonable or anything worth "mocking"...though some of the things said here are quite a bit more than just mocking in my opinion.

Me on run I work my butt off for: 0 commendations
Me half-assedly tanking Titan HM for lights and maybe the triple triad card: 7 commendations even though tanking is the easiest job in the entire fight.

You can't force people to give you a comm. But the protocol that we've had since they introduced the system was tank comms healers and DPS comm each other, that way everyone walks out with something - unless the person did something to UN-earn a commendation, or someone else pulled out something amazing.

Here's a list of what has gotten (+) my comm in the past and which ones have not (-)

+Had a spat with another member. Gave comm to the peacemaker.
+Friendly player
+Does their job well, but not a dick
+Healers who dealt with my dumb ass when I was having an off day with mechanics
-Comm beggers
-Dicks
-Derps. We all have our off days. Just be willing to accept you won't get many comms that day.

As a side note, today in my LLR, I got the Aery. I wasn't sure who to give my comm to, and we were already past the instant wipe mechanic on the last boss. NIN goes down and the healer's raise macro had a line in party chat, "You've met with a terrible fate." Majora's Mask reference got my comm. Ironically, the healer may not have gotten that comm had they done just a bit better keeping the NIN alive.

Even if no one give you commendation,its ok just keep performing your great skill out there to help people and then someday,somerun ..
someone will notice your performance and will give you commendation.Don't give up !
