fps drop issue

hello guys

i feel unhappy out of late my laptop is suffering a bit of fps drop in certain situations , most of the time my fps is 60 but it drops in the following :

1-when flying over the southern ruins in hinterland, it drops to 54-50-48
2-when other players uses multi AOE on the same target reaches 23fps if heavily used ex:large groups of hunts targeting one mark


other than that i am always at fps 60

so it would seem i am having an issue with handling the visual effects coming from the AoE skills


my gfx is nvidia gtx 750m 4gb
asus n series laptop
16gb ram

-never downloaded any suspicious files
-i dont use apps in the background
- my laptop is a bit dusty
-i tested it with other games and frame rate always at 60-59-55
-run through dx9
-standard laptop game setting


is this normal? or something have to do with the recent updates? cause i recall someone said that they have improved the visual effects of some skills , could this be the issue here?

Your graphics card simply can't make it.

I used to have a laptop on GTX765M which is better than your 750M and on congested open world it is realistically only 40ish FPS

I can't tell what it was like during a hunt zerg since I sold off that laptop before hunts came out but I'd expect it to drop to 30+FPS range.
