Where did you set your homepoint and why?

It will probably be different based upon preferences for DoW, DoM, DoL, DoH.

For me I'm trying out setting it to Falcon's Nest. I think it's quicker to get to the mining and botany scip nodes from Coerthas Western than to return to Idyllshire and fly from there.

What do you guys do and what do you think is best?

I concur on the thanalan topsoil, but can you utilize both a FC mini aetheryte and a personal home aetheryte in another city state to free up 2 favored destinations? I think having a favored destination cuts the teleport cost in 1/2 and housing aetheryte is by 3/4th?
