Pre-order code site down?

Why is the pre-order code site down? I was gone out of town a bit for work and I got back, https://preorder.na.finalfantasyxiv.com/na is down. How do I enter my 18-digit pre-order code (AAAAAA-123-AAAAAA-123 format) code? I followed this site http://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/lodest...8c6c7d17987be5

I really would like to get my pre-order items or at least for them to re-open the site. it hasn't even been a month since the game been out.

They may have moved it to Mogstation with the last update to the site. Check your Account details page where you add licenses and such.

You're thinking of the 20 digit code (20-digit (XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX format) pre-order code), I'm talking about the 18 digit code.

no... I know which code you are talking about. In the past they've also made code entry available under account management as well (prior to the Mogstation). I already entered my code back before early access, so I may not see the option on my Mogstation--but others who didn't register a code might. All I see on my account are options like redeeming licenses for the platforms I don't have (no option to add a PC license, as I already have one) and Item Codes.

This is for the 20 digit code as I been saying. I need a place to put my 18 digit code, and the only place I can do that is from the website and it is down. Why does it say up until the 31st if it's gonna just be closed before 30 days of launch so dumb.

Good.. you checked the Mogstation to see if they might have moved it there, which is what I suggested earlier.

I don't see all those buttons...as I mentioned earlier, it doesn't display the option for some things once you have already used them (like my PC license and my EA code). Thus, I only have the option to enter a regular item code, which looks slightly different (no mention of EA period and such).

The site could be down for a host of reasons...they may not be nixing the code redemption. There could be some weird technical problems (ever see Ariyala's site go down? tends to come back up eventually). It could even be offline because they are moving it into the Mogstation with the next maintenance... who knows.

If things don't come back up soon, perhaps you should open a formal ticket with SE...it can sometimes take a long time to advance an issue like this through the user forums. Ultimately, they would probably end up sending you there anyway, as this might involve sharing sensitive information.

Did a little poking around... looks like that site was actually done through Amazon Web Services. Something weird may be going on with them.
