Wait what? Ok so as a Bard, yes I have been kicked multiple times from multiple dungeons before they even start, just for being a Bard. I have experienced the problem first hand. But with that being said, have a little patience... There is literally no reason to place a demand/deadline on SE that they are well aware of to start with. I'll be honest, no one cares you have 3 weeks left on your subscription. I have 1 week left on mine, and I will be resubbing afterwards because I'm realistic about the situation.

You have no idea what considerations go into creating a balancing a class, and if you did then you be providing solutions instead of just complaining. If SE wants to balance MCH/BRD after Alexander then that's what we will wait for. They are not changing their own deadline to satisfy yours, it is what it is.

SE is doing the smart thing and waiting to see how people utilize the classes in Alexander before they take concrete steps to tweak things.

Have you forgotten that they actually had to nerf NIN after its release because the players discovered a rotation they hadn't anticipated that made NIN incredibly OP? At the moment they are aware of the issues with BRD and MCH and are looking into what changes need to be made. That doesn't mean they are going to make those changes right away.

I am a scholar main however I loved the idea of a "machinist" as far back as when I played the original final fantasy tactics game. I adored it. I am sitting at level 59 with it and going to reach 60 in a few days/if not sooner.

I am staggeringly disappointed that the machinist is not viable (I can argue the fact that the skills are... not what we were lead to believe through the description but viability is obviously the #1 concern).
HOWEVER I am confident that the development team released these classes (AST, DRK, MCH) all undertuned intentionally so that they avoid the ninja "crisis" where they had to outright nerf hard many aspects of their kit. So INSTEAD they release it knowingly undertuned and then buff multiple aspects of the kit.

Furthermore no developer that cares (And believe me the FF14 development team obviously cares a lot about it's players) would shrug their shoulders and let a class of theirs die.

Stay strong and just enjoy whatever you can at present, do not let anyone take away your fun! Stay positive- we are all confident that buffs are along the way!

I keep seeing this passed around the nerfs to NINJA BEING OP really didn't do anything other then make them run out of tp as fast as a monk it was about a 1% dps loss at best if you were even able to use raiton without clipping the GCD less for those who couldn't use it(pretty sure they did it just to shut the forums up a little). Yes MCH/BRD needs some buffs yes they're coming.
