    New PVP reward to encourage more people to participate.

    I recommend adding a consumable that increases token gains from PVE sources as a reward for PVP. Perhaps the consumable will give you a 24 hour buff, or perhaps increase the gains from the next 5 instances where you receive tokens (whatever those tokens may be--poetics, law, etc).

    I think this would increase interest in PVP from players otherwise only interested in PVE; or have never tried out PVP because they were so busy with PVE activities. With this reward, players who like PVE activities can try PVP and maximize gains in PVE.

    Of course, this reward will not be so great as to "force" people to PVP. Rather, it should be modulated to encourage those who wish to maximize efficiency in PVE progress by trying out PVP.

    Further, there could also be consumables that (1) increase experience gains for alts (DOW and DOM) and (2) increase experience gains for DOH and DOL classes. We can let the player choose which reward they want-- either a consumable that: (1) increase token gains from PVE sources; (2) increase to DOW or DOM exp; or (3) increase to DOL or DOH exp.

    Of course, this idea is not entirely new. If I am not mistaken, there are already items (manuals) that one can buy with GC seals that give limited (but much appreciated!) buffs to exp gains for DOL and DOH classes.

    I will let the game designers work out further details, but I think this is a good idea because it encourages people to experience different aspects of the game--and perhaps discover that they enjoy something they previously thought they wouldn't (who knew I would love mining of all things!).

    i think pve players already get bonuses to pve what with relic light bonus and law/esoteric tomes in the upcoming frontlines match

    Honestly there is more than enough participation, but its stopped dead by the completely asinine restricted GC queues, if you remove that, frontline queues will be pretty much instant during primetime every day, the awful queue time is what is making the population low, not the lack of pve rewards

    I'd like the idea. To have exclusive items and buffs from PvP enhancing your experience with PvE would be awesome. And it'd make sense for us to get crafting and gathering buffs since we make can make PvP gear and items so it'd be pointless to have options like these to not receive any rewards from it.

    And yeah GC queues are bad, its been said millions of times on these PvP thread and nothing's been mentioned about it.

    I would rather see PvP content in this game that would make people willingly join it without the need to throw 300 types of rewards on them. You know.. that content with atleast some mechanics instead of stack on middle and kill everyone.. that content that has been in MMOs for last 10 years.

    FFXIV community has already shown us in the recent past that adding PVE rewards in PVP is a really bad idea, be it in form of relic lights, or [insert new philosophy/myth] tomes, or any other PVE-related stuff.

    PVE-only people queued for FL, and then either AFK at spawn point, or didn't care about win/lose because PVE reward would be handed to them anyway. The only option to make it viable would be to make PVE rewards exclusive to the winning team, but there would be a lot of people crying about it, so... I would just prefer to leave PVE rewards for PVE content.

    Maybe in a perfect world...

    I agree with Blaon... the frustrating and completely unnecessary waits for a match make it appear that not enough people want to play, and that's not true. It's the stupid GC restriction that keeps it from finding the right number of people to start a match quickly, nothing else. And when people are incentivized to join for PVE reason (like with light farming, that was awful) they disproportionately fill up the less populated GC's in matches and put them at even more of a disadvantage by having too many Don't Give a Fk players on their team.
