Using the disc to play

Hey guys, is there a way to play on my ps4 without using the disc?

So I need to download the game digitally then? I thought I already did that ,but perhaps it's just the patches. Hmm, ok, thank you

I was under the assumption that even though I purchased a physical copy of the game, I could still somehow play without the disc.

Nope the digital version is an actual copy of the game as well

You don't need the disc to play just to installed the client once everything from the disc is installed you don't need to use it ever again.

Yea I've tried playing without the disc but I'm unable to. My ps4 has it stored and installed, yet I still need the physical disc.

Once you register the 12-digit PSN code you got inside the box on the PlayStation Store, it registers a digital copy of the game with your account.

If you already installed it from the disc, you need to delete that data and then download the whole thing from the PSN in order to use the digital version.
