    Divine Veil absolutely needs a second animation

    The number of people i get that just don't understand the use of this spell is too damn high...even if i do explain. I use macros, but still doesn't help. We need an animation while the buff spread after you get a heal to make healers understand that it's not nothing, cause the buff is op :/

    Or at least make it work on auto-heal, what is Clemency here for ?

    OP? How? It's a nice ability yes, but OP it hardly is. It's on a 3 min cooldown and puts up a shield that's 10% of your health. If my i175 DRK is any indication, then by 60 my DV will be a measly 1.6k shield, useful sure, but hardly OP especially given how infrequent it can be used and how much trouble it is to proc it at the right time.

    150 seconds =/= 3 minutes. And no, it's not an OP skill, but it is very strong. While not affecting the Paladin themselves, the necessity to affect a high HP high defensive target is low. I always use it on raid wide phase change damage. It also has other applications like bridging the gap of virus cooldowns and aiding your main tank when off tanking.

    It's only 1.6k but stacks with SCH shields. It is a very powerful tool if used at the right time. Sadly a lot of the healers I meet in the DF don't yet know its effect and sometimes they just don't watch the chat log for my macro'ed explanation on it. This is a ballpark figure but I think 4 out of 6 healers have let it drop off me simply because for the duration I did not need heals.

    We should get an overhead prism spinning on top of our heads for the duration and the prism shatters in to pieces and flies towards those party members in range, then form a shield in front of them and disappear. My heart dies a little every time a healer lets it expire on me.

    The trigger should be removed. It's a bit silly, given the MT will constantly get healed, raid organization is pretty easy--its just an inconvenience that does not add much.

    It'd be nice to have that second animation but so far in my static's runs of EX primals it's worked very well. Pop it before the pre-raid-wide succor goes out and bam: two shields up to trivialize something.

    I was looking for a explanation on how to properly use DV. I figured it was best used before a raid-wide hit, but wasn't really sure. Now that I understand it's use better, I can see why the cool down is so long. Most raid-wide hits are during phase changes which have a few minutes between them.

    I agree with pretty much everybody else, there needs to be some animation when the effect is triggered to let everyone else know they've been shielded by it.

    ^This and a sound effect would be nice. Catches me off guard when I'm SCHing when I see it come up. It just appears, no warning or anything after I heal the tank. A Shell-ish animation like from the other FF games would work nicely.
