next unlocked fight's cutscenes: view them before

Hi!
I don't know if this was already asked here, I apologize if it was and didn't see it.

I wish we could see the cutscenes from a fight before we have done it.

For now, we can (must) skip cutscenes and view them afterwards in our rooms. So we enter fights knowing nothing about the plot going on. Who are we fighting against? Why is he/she like this? Why is BIIIP with us? Why is BIIIP against us? Why is BIIIP down?

Should I want to view cutscenes afterwards, I already know what happened. I don't enjoy the story (I self-spoiled it). If I could see the cutscenes from a fight before I have done it, I could do that fight knowing what's going on. I would enjoy the story. And I could skip those cutscenes ingame.

Can we view the cutscenes from an unlocked fight before we have done it?

clearly no! it will simply make the people complaining about people that look the Cut scene a reason to do it.
the Cut scene are part of the game! that more the people that complain about this that need to tune down!

If someone is forcing you to skip... just tell them you won't.
I never skip cutscenes the first time through. If someone wants me to then I just say "then fine fight without me". If it's a 4 man the fight will probably take way longer without me than if they just had waited. And if I'm healing then well, it's laughable.
In the bigger parties it can be a bigger problem but... as far as I know the newer dungeons (in HW, not ARR) have no really long cutscenes that require more than two minutes of your time.

Maybe they should bump the first time reward a little and then make cutscenes non-optional. . At least that way no one could ask for them to be skipped in the first place (because they cannot be!).

As a tank I guess its different but I kind of just watch them and let people know lol. If they want to go up ahead without me, then good luck :P.

About the only place its really a problem are Castrum and Prae from what I've seen. Some people are impatient jerks even outside of that yes, but atleast in a good portion of it these days they have to deal.

I almost agree on the non-skiabble part for parties with first timers, but it does make me wonder how much the Main Story roulette would be affected by it.

With the expansion, you'll notice this is a non-existing issue. The cut-scenes generally begin with a short introduction to the dungeon, and then there's one after the boss fights (for the story dungeons).

Maybe you have one in the middle but it barely lasts one minute, if you're skipping them you only have yourself to blame!

when I'm going in a dungeon i normally addapt to what the group wants me to do (as a tank the influence of how the run goes is rather big) so as long as the Group tells me to Speed run or to get every mob (or whatever ells) i will probably do it. The only think I always say no to is when others want to force new Players to skip cut Scenes.
I remember one time recently when i was helping someone out in pretorium (or however it is called the lvl 50 storyroulette dungeon):
they demanded her to skip cutscene and i told them to let new players watch if they want and that they should expect that in a Story dungeon (yeah i would have said the same think for strangers, just to make that clear).
Luckuly the other tank and the healers were on the same side here. So it was two dds against everyone else here, but they demanded it so much and were ruder everytime that soon it escalated and i was telling them to leave and get replaced if they really can't take it (never got so out of hand before). They actually leaft (right before gaius) and were replaced with 2dds who where cool with watching sut scences.

So what I want to say is while I normally adapt to the groups need watching cutscences is where i take the one newby over all the other Players (even if this means the Need of one is taken over the need of seven - putting me in the seven because i would of course "Profit" if you want to say so from a faster run)
So NO i don't think SE Needs to let us watch cutscenes before people just need to take more care of new Players (really that is important), and SE might be good with less cutscence during the run as they used them at the end of 2.0 (luckily they stopped with that).

If this is becoming a problem, maybe SE should set it back to how the original 2.0 worked, where no cutscene was skippable. Would solve this problem and folks will just have to get over it.
