Is there a way to keep the symbol about the head of the NPCs who'll play TT? It just makes it a bit easier to run to them after I've initially beaten them.

No, and they have said they do not plan on making this a thing either.. many people asked previously
YAY! I'm part of a herd! This post was longer originally because I couldn't figure out the times for the NPCs. But then I found the Erozea clock and couldn't figure how to delete the thread so I cut it down to this small question.
Thanks anyway. It really sucks for them to do this.
There is a nice website I use www.ffxivtriad.com
It shows you which NPC are 'active' and when their timers are..
Also shows you what cards you can win etc.
It doesn't say on the main page but you can register with the site and mark off which cards you have, after you do this they get greyed out so you can even easier see which NPC you still need to beat for what card website/settings I believe
That's the one I use. I do love it. The whole time thing, though, well, that was me being stupid. I didn't realize the times on the page were in game time, not real time. XDThere is a nice website I use www.ffxivtriad.com
As for markers, it's purely a laziness factor. I realize the NPC is in X and, when I warp there, I'd just like to be able to glance at the map and head there instead of looking it up (if it's been a bit) or doing the 'I think it's there' type of thing. It's just a convenience thing.
