Ceremonial Chocobo Can't Fly...? Really..?

Can we get this fixed and addressed? I mean the Fat Chocobo can fly, why not my wedding mount? I have no reason to ride this with my wife since it can't fly in the fly zones... it's kinda useless now...

I doubt SE wants folks with wedding mounts to be flying taxis for people who haven't done their quests.

Real question is why the Ahriman can't fly. Or the bomb palenquin. Man, I want my flying pimpchair.

The devs have announced on several occasions that the listed mounts will have flight capability. Live Letters, Pax, etc. The only questionable announcement had to do with the extreme/kirin mounts where they were hesitating and mentioned that while not available right away, it will "possibly" be made available in a future patch, verbal.

Two seaters were featured on a screen slide on one of the bigger live letters, while bomb/ahriman were verbal.

Fat chocobo flying was the later request of all the requests and it managed to reach the front of the line. Probably because more players have a Fat Chocobo than all the others combined.

They probably didn't think about duo flying, dunno if they even plan to honestly. Might be a risk of letting newbies or people reach areas they are not suppose to prior to completing the story quests.....which thinking now, can't see how that would hurt as the flying is still locked behind MSQ. Meh...

True but as I did say, what real harm comes from it? There is always an Aether current locked behind the MSQ. Now I do see people looking to profit off allowing other people by being a Taxi service but not a real threat I'd think. After all in this world we live in money/gil will always make your life easier.
