Yes another one of these posts. I'm just curious in the ex primals which one is parsing higher? I main Drg and don't plan on switching I'm just curious.

I come to the forums for this kinda info, don't really know where to find current dps numbers.
pretty silly to judge a class on extreme primals really, especially ravana. Fight ends at the start of a liberation cast gonna produce awful parse. However a parse ending right before the end of one of his casts is gonna be ALOT better looking. Other factors include how much dps they managed to get on the adds ( which could be a factor since the add u just walked to got 1 shot by a blm crit ). A further factor is that dps on the stoneskin doesn't add to the parse, so if a group burst the stoneskin with cds in order to have less parse downtime ( lol ), parse gonna look better than if they didn't have cds at the time of destroying the stoneskin. My point is it's probably unlikely u will find a drg and nin parse from groups who 100% optimised the fight because the truth is nobody cares enough about extremes to do so.
I'd imagine both are pulling about 1050-1100 without pots, party , below 20% finishers etc on a dummy, if that helps.
Lol not really. I'm not looking to judge a class based on anything. I'm looking for an answer to my specific question for my own reasons. I have a buddy on ninja in my FC/SP and we are competitive. Just wondering who would be "favored" to come out ahead. I don't think I can judge anything about either class based on the primal fights or that the fights are great judges of either dps potential. Seriously just want to know exactly what I just asked in the original post.
I lack the proper numbers but a well played ninja at present absolutely shreds content. As a healer who has ran so much shit (dungeons, bismark ex, ravana ex) I gotta say Ninja seems to come out on top. People keep saying they only do 1.1k DPA but I struggle to believe it. I feel they are both closer to 1,300.
Like in reality maybe Ninja's trick-attack or w/e the damage amp (1/6th of the time uptime) is... but I seriously see Ninja's shred through content stupidly fast.
Past experience leans a bit more in Ninja's favor. Dragoons still rip through content at level 60 and mobs like it's nobody's business but Ninja seems to be a slight bit faster. (Is this maybe from their 15% ASPD buff from mudras????? I don't know.)
I know, not numbers, but I figured I'd may as well chime in/give a free bump.
will depend of the tank, if you have a warrior landing Storm's eye, the ninja dps will change a lot since it will allows them to scraps one combo of them cycle. and use more often Aeolian Edge, our most damaging skill.
outside this, dragoon will be a bit infront, but like always it's not that important. ohhh i did forget the mudra lag, if your ninja friend are affected by it or not can change him capacity too. *shrugs* but it's silly as comparaison since both are extremely powerfull, then one or another? no bring both and enjoy the destruction.
We are bringing both and there will be some friendly competition. That's why I asked the question. I doubt it's uncommon for an SP to have a Dragoon and ninja in it. I figured some of those guys would be able to speak up as to who has come out ahead. The people telling me my question is silly must think I'm applying some level of importance to which one comes out ahead. I just want to beat my friend online lol.
for bismark ex
if i had to guess, dragoon.
phase 1 is trash adds, die quick. not really much of a parse changer.
carapace also dies quick favours nin becuse drg dots aren't ticking all the way.
phase 2 is just a straight dummy parse tbh. shouldn't get hit by anything.
phase 3 is a pretty long phase that id say favours drg because DRGs are better at handling multiple mobs. between multi dotting/aoe and proper geirskogul (aoe) usage, their dps should be very high.
