Why can't I like your post 500 times? You've succinctly explained everything I wanted to say in one neat little sentence. You magnificent person you. Ahem... but yes, I'd sooner eat a penalty than deal with a horrible player myself. Jokes are supposed to be funny, what he said was not.

eh, different humors for different folks in my book. XD I have friends that chuckle at it too. In my book, people are just too sensitive. I do appreciate a bit of the better understanding for that sensitivity, though, but I doubt I'll change my typing style. <_<

self-depreciating humor is always better than something that can be taken as an insult. it's pretty much impossible to be too sensitive in the community we have, most of us have no qualms about dropping joking insults on the fly. It's more so that people no longer feel interested in giving someone who wishes to use a depreciating comment as a first impression the time of day.


honestly i don't like the 'eww bard' comment at all, and i don't even main bard. the hefty damage nerf they got was out of their control, and their utility (as well as machanist's limited utility) still make them quite useful. i have never ran in a raid group without a bard, and regardless of their gimped damage i doubt that will change.
