I wouldn't comment on them like that either and I think in it's in bad taste OP. Mostly because I endured years of "loldrk." I know exactly how they feel.

Guess what, it's hard to tell tone through text. That sounds more like an obvious joke than just plain "Ew bard" - which frankly doesn't sound like a joke at all on it's own.
Context. You don't know these people, if it's a friend they're obviously going to know you're joking, but a random stanger? ESPECIALLY when brds and mchs are getting kicked simply for playing the job they like.
Maybe they had a bad day or had already been kicked from a party once. No need for "jokes" that probably no one except you is going to find funny.
Heh, relic from a past life :3 In 2.0/2.1 I was main-heals, White Mage and Scholar, but I wound up quitting the job altogether because of raid drama and static abuse when it came to T5 (Raiding, not fun on a healer when you get blamed even when you pull all the stops.)
After that, I switched to Warrior and Dragoon, though I also took to mastering the other jobs. :3 The only ones I'll say I'm not great at are Summoner and Monk, respectively. I suppose I should fix my Job description for the sake of continuity, but it just never really occured to me until you mentioned it. x3

I'd never genuinly kick anyone. I've actually only ever kicked one Mechanist, and that was because they spammed LB the moment the bar was full to create that oh-so-grating "LB Activated" sound. Personally, if they gave it more than a few seconds, they'd probably realise it was light-hearted jab. And that's really why I find it so baffling.
Had no problems in AK HM eariler today on my AST, I even did some DPSin' alittle bit.I've also speed run/mass pulls of CC/DD/AV (lvl Sync'ed) and have done most of the older DF's as speed runs too.
I have had people in my FC comment on bad AST's ... but I feel I do just fine with it and rarely have problems with wipes caused by lack of heals.![]()
You can really tell the good AST's from the bad AST's based on how they handle their buffs and healing. I think Stance also affects it a little, but I'm not sure which of the two is stronger.Had no problems in AK HM eariler today on my AST, I even did some DPSin' alittle bit.I've also speed run/mass pulls of CC/DD/AV (lvl Sync'ed) and have done most of the older DF's as speed runs too.

All I know is, Library, I've run with a Warrior tank, and on one of the runs had an AST with the audacity to say "Warrior can't handle this pull"... when we could easily handle it with a good WHM or SCH. It was pretty amusing to watch them try to blame it on being a Warrior.
I think good AST's are great and will really prove themselves in time. 'sides, they give me red cards for days.
The Stance depends on the fight I think, I've often switched back and forth between trash and bosses, depending on what I know about the boss and what I think would handle better if S*** hit the fan. The cards are by far the most RNG part, but I do not try to rely on them as if they are life or death, I use them as an extra boost to a fight instead of something I need in order to keep it together.
I donno what the deal was, I just know when we got to the last boss he had issues keeping up with the damage, and the issue went away when he did :/ Do mind that I don't dislike Astrologians. It's probably the healer class I'm a work up to 60, and I'm DPS/TankDPS4Life, but there have been times I've found them to be under powered for the task at hand, and I find that concerning for a new class, especially an interesting one like Astrologian, or Dark Knight which I've been since early access. I love it, though there are times it feels a bit weak ...Had no problems in AK HM eariler today on my AST, I even did some DPSin' alittle bit.I've also speed run/mass pulls of CC/DD/AV (lvl Sync'ed) and have done most of the older DF's as speed runs too.

For a cleaner, safer world to wreak havoc in with no stripper left behind.

I get fussed at by BRDs and MCHs for even suggesting that BRD and MCH may need buffing.
It's like some people are in complete denial that anything is wrong at all. Maybe they don't want to admit to themselves that they chose a sub par job, who knows.
I understand what your saying and I don't mean you specifically when I refer to the kicks BRD/ MCH get, and of course there are always those types that deserved to be kicked out of stupidity. With that being said, all the BRDs and MCHs are already well aware of the class "under-performing" and adding insult to injury by making the "Ew Bard" comment doesn't help the case in the slightest.@Ulyssess -

I have run into the sarcastic comments on a daily basis, and I'm not bothered by it, but I can't speak for everyone in the community.
Because brds can't get used to the idea that tanks do the same dmg now. 123123 pld does 900 dps with war debuff gg se wp. For some reason ppl think tanks should be trash tier dmg. Even though it was like this in arr, it was something I could never understand. Sure tank dps is nice now, wont last long w/o a brd though at least in the case for u ez mode plds. And b4 some clown says nin goad , the nin needs paeon more than any other class in the game.
Wow look at that, I got a bit sensitive there too I guess =/ lol
Buff brd or riot!
