Honestly, I think people are getting a little bit too attached if they're getting offended over something as light as 'Ew Bard'. I mean, I could understand if it was something more substantially and to the extent you were being excluded from things because of your job, but some people on this game need to learn to lighten up.

Except this is happening. Definitely so on my server, and most likely on others such as levi. Honestly, it's at the point that I really don't want to put up with more crap in DF, since I've actually gotten kicked out of a aery run because DPS (me) died to sable price not being killed in time. I'm just not going to bother if people are going to give me a hard time (jokingly or not ,because this is incredibly hard to tell with complete strangers over text).

But that is happening... I've been kicked multiple times from runs that never even left the gate, just because they see my class listed as Bard. Literally nothing I can do, I can't even prove my worth to the party, since I'm kicked before anything even happens. I've counted 9 times I've been kicked from a 3.0 dungeon in the last 24 hours.

Just seems ignorant (for lack of a better word) to be making a statement, pretending this problem doesn't exist...

I got kicked 2/3 of the way through a Library run yesterday. No one in the party had died, I was providing support songs when needed, and I actually thought the run was going quite well (faster than any of my previous runs, anyways). There wasn't a single comment from the other party members...I just found myself booted back in Idyllshire after the second boss went down. The only thing I can figure is that they felt it was taking too long or something.

If you're going to kick a party member for low DPS (or some other reason), at least have the cojones to say "Hey, we're kicking you because of 'X'". Randomly kicking someone out without a word is just bush-league bulls**t.

God I die to sable prince so much. Usually because DPS is bad or they just ignore it ~3~ I know your pain there. If it helps any, I always break it near instantly on DRG <3

The thing is, I've gotten blamed for the price not dying soon enough, even though I was the one trapped in it. Their only basis was that because I was a machinist (and probably piss-poor dps.) Part finders regularly exclude MCH (sometimes bards even), and I sometimes get flank when the party cant break warlord shell (and we have five dps.

Eithercase, you probably browse around the forums, so you should at least have an idea on what the current state of BRD/MCH currently is, I've never actually seen parties that out go out of their way to exclude DRG or SMNs out of shiva EX or static/sub positions for FCoB.

As for it already happening... Honestly, I can't question your experiences. But I know on raid content and likewise on the EX's I cleared, I always want a BRD or MCH. I think that's why they say you're not being disincluded - no good player worth your time on meaningful content is going to disinclude you. Your spot as Support-DPS is too vital.

For the second half that is true... now. But pre-buffs? DRG\\'s were pretty undesirable. Was hard to find a team as one. And even when you did? You were expected to underperform :/ can\\'t tell you how many times I out do monks and its treated more like a monk making a mistake than a dragoon being good.

I\\'ve not seen a PF do this yet? But I\\'ll check today. Won\\'t deny i only want one - a hard or mechanist. But that\\'s standard comp.

I have, however, seen FCOB farms lock it to MNK/NIN only. Like I said - your mileage may vary. Won't deny what you experience
