As I read all the replies, the OP's best and most repeated responses are things like "I don't see it like that, people are just sensitive, my friends joke about it". Clearly this person has no....what's the word...apathy? He sees it as because something doesn't affect ME, therefore it's okay to do. By that logic should I say "haha fags" to a gay couple I see in a train? It's just a joke that I say to my friends all the time..what's the big deal? Just no dude. Learn how to put yourself in others shoes. If you can't then I feel sorry for you.

Empathy is the word you're looking for. The ability to imagine how another person might feel and why someone might be offended by you being rude. Apathy is mostly the complete opposite - a state of not caring at all.

Not touching on the DRG topic, I just want to address the OP. No, You did absolutely nothing wrong in the situation you described, and yes, those people were being greatly oversensitive regardless of the current situation of BRD/MCN. I'd say don't judge them harshly because of it but honestly you'll never see them again most likely.

Now, before anyone goes and assumes this or that... I'm not talking about >legit< insults here, as that is always annoying... But not jokes... welcome to being an adult... If you're not sure if someone is joking or not the proper reaction is never "Be a triggered baby and ragequit", because in that situation, the only loser will be you.

Yeah except that when someone types just "ew bard", that is 1) no indication whatsoever that this is a joke instead of a deliberate insult and 2) not really a good joke anyway.

I give it a like for realism and creativity.

BRD in WD = less defense, more power. Automatically cancels when moving.

MCH with GB = less defense, less GCD, less potency on all attacks.

It could work with a drawback that WD needs to be used very expertly or no one is going to use it. Requires quite a bit of precision and timing as it cancels when you move. Also, this will have to nullify the casting time for the song.

I can't say about MCH but if the Gauss barrel doubles the AA instead of removing it, it would see a jump in the long run of a fight but not so in a large, short pulls. Instead, it's near useless in those situations because you want to AOE instead of focusing on a single target.

exactly what i was thinking about casting time for song. I edited my original post with getting rid of casting time but adding a debuff of Heavy for 5 seconds (or less...maybe 3 sec) which slows movement speed by a certain percentage after cxl of song
