I personally find the biggest problem with male and female sets is that is gives a different vibe. If you noticed, typically when male and female armor that is actually exclusive to the gender has the same theme they stay exclusive to each gender. Swimsuits, wedding (for bride and groom), etc. The problem I've noticed is that they give off different themes belly dancers for females and desert dweller for males; hence, expanding the themes a female can equip by making the male armor unisex.

Hmmm, I guess I'll try to explain it this way. There are four types of underwear: Boxers, boxer briefs, jock-strap and thongs. They're all relate-able due to them all being underwear. However, all of them have a form of "feeling", "vibe" to them. I guess I'm having difficulty finding the word to fit what I'm saying, but I hope this helps.

They both have an Arabic theme, sure, but one is unisex the other female only. The one has a glamorous "performer" aspect and the other a more practical Arabic aspect. Why can't men be glamorous performers too?

It's kinda true that the "male"/female outfits differ in that one's the owner of the harem and the other is the harem girl. So to speak. I just don't quite see the same disconnect in theme as you do ^^ Might be because I saw (and still see) the term 'theme' a bit more strictly, so it's entirely because of me =D

Oh, I completely agree =) Either they should both be unisex, or both be gender-specific. I never said anything different.
(And yes, we need harem boys just as much as harem girls...)

How about an option for censorship for unsuitable audiences...? When turned on, all indecently exposed characters will be displayed wearing a robe + cowl...

Clearly, the best Final Fantasy character is Locke Cole.

As of now, I am to protest this. Until we have equality in clothing options, I will henceforth wear nothing but a pair of boots.

GW2 has plenty of vanity gear with no lockouts, and themed sets with one set per gender, which, as another poster has described does give rise to the problem of different aesthetics, unfortunately. And yes, the revealing armour for women, making them seem less functional has gotten pretty over the top.

    I 100% agree with op.
These are some of the things from my thread on this topic where I drew my guy in the Thavnairian Bustier and some variations I came up with.
