Quest for training normal chocobo to fly?

I checked 3 pages but i didn't see any titles on this.

I am told it is possible to train your first chocobo to fly and the quest is in the stables. I go there, no quests.

I am probably missing a prerequisite of some kind. I can currently fly in western highlands with black chocobo.

Any thoughts?

I cannot remember for sure but if you keep doing side quests you will unlock it. I believe it is in Ishgard.

It's a Quest at the Holy Chocobo stables at the Foundation/Ishgard and it's level 52 and called "I Believe I Can Fly". It should show up on your map at lvl 52.

Edit: I believe also this quest allows your personal choco, legacy choco, and fat choco to fly (not sure of others)

Once you turn in the lead in quest to the Dravanian Forelands (where chocobos roam I thinks the name) , go back to Ishgard and take the Aetheryte to the Skysteel Foundry and return to those chocobo stables. The Male Quest giver at the table I there will have the quest 'I believe I can fly' finish that and your Company Chocobos, legacy 1.0 Chocobos if you have one, and fat Chocobo will be able to fly

Seeing the Fat Chocobo fly (and just as fast) makes me stop in the field and double take every time xd
